Whether Erica is listening to the slightly unpredictable chord changes in Jazz, the heavy bass line of Garage or even the rhythmic sways of Broken Beat, she is continuously surprised by the journey music can take the mind on.
Growing up in a musical household – from a young age she’s always been aware of the importance in feeling out talent sonically. Her Dad’s background as a Lovers Rock and Reggae musician continues to inspire her to find the deepest of feelings within the vibrations of music.
Recently she has been fascinated by the beauty of raw African beats, the twangy rhythms of India and the warm melodies of Latin American music. Erica is constantly exploring the depths of sound, on her many journeys to finding new music.
